1. Information we collect

Account information. When you create a venue owner, manager, or patron account, we collect your email address. Venue owners and managers also provide venue details such as business name, address, contact information, hours, photos, menus, and event listings.

Payment information. Paid subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Your payment card details are entered directly with Stripe and are handled by Stripe under their privacy practices; we do not store full card numbers. We receive limited billing information such as subscription status.

Contact form submissions.When a visitor submits a contact form on a venue's hosted site, we collect the name, email, optional phone number, and message provided, and pass it to the venue.

Newsletter preferences. Patrons may set newsletter preferences such as location and frequency, which we store to send relevant digests.

Uploaded files. Venue owners may upload images and PDF documents, which we store to display on their site.

2. How we use information

We use information to provide and operate the Service: to create and authenticate accounts, process subscriptions, publish venue listings and hosted sites, deliver contact-form messages and newsletter digests, respond to support requests, and maintain the security and integrity of the Service.

3. Service providers

We rely on third-party providers to operate the Service, and share information with them only as needed for that purpose: Supabase (database, authentication, and file storage), Stripe (payment processing), Resend (email delivery, including magic-link sign-in and notifications), and Vercel (website hosting). Hosted venue sites embed Google Maps to display venue locations. Each provider handles data under its own privacy practices.

4. Sharing of information

We do not sell your personal information. Venue information submitted by owners is published publicly as part of the Service. Contact-form submissions are shared with the relevant venue. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Lounge Links or others.

5. Data retention

We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal information by contacting us; some information may be retained where required for legal, accounting, or security purposes.

6. Your choices

You may access or update your account information by signing in, adjust newsletter preferences in your account, and request account deletion by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights regarding your personal information; contact us to exercise them.

7. Cookies and sessions

We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to keep you signed in and to operate the Service. We do not use them for third-party advertising.

8. Children's privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
